HEADS UP AT THE MET BALL

The Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Ball is my favorite fashion seen- obv!  A major trend at this years event was head pieces.  I loved them!  Check 'em out.

Even the designers got in on this one.  My very favorite was Vera Wang's Grecian inspired piece.

WHAT A PIN HEAD

I love this idea of using vintage broaches as boutonnieres, and check out the ones in the bridesmaids hair.  Such a lovely touch.

WALK A MILE IN HIS SHOES

I love a man in a suit and cookies! Put them together and I don't know what you get, but put a suit and unexpected shoes on a man and what you get is relaxed elegance. Check out these handsome guys in their duds.

I simply love the idea of a short dress on the big day. There is something so unexpected, understated, and relaxed about these short numbers and I love the idea, especially with some colored shoes.
