DAY DREAMING

via
This bedroom is bigger than my whole apartment. One day, one day...

WEEKEND PROJECT

It's no secret that apartments here in New York are teeny tiny and mine certainly is no exception! I'm always trying to think of new ways to store all my stuff. I have my bed on risers and it is stuffed under there. So when I saw this cute shelf over a doorway I couldn't have been happier. It's such a great idea. I'd like to put one in my bedroom and put my books up there and even one in the bathroom for all my lotions and potions. You can do it too, click here for instructions.

STORM WATCH

How amazing are these storm pictures by Mike Hollingshead. It really makes you realize how small we are in the world and how powerful nature is!

JEWELRY STORAGE

As a jewelry designer I'm always looking for new ways to display and store my jewelry. I'd like to try displaying it in picture frames. Design Sponge has a bunch of cute ideas all for under $100.

DOUBLE THE RECIPE

One of my best friends Erin has started a blog about where food and life come together. It has a few great recipes and wonderful stories about what food can inspire. It's a great read. Check it out at doubletherecipe.wordpress.com
